Your key duties

This is an exciting position requiring Commercial and Business Partnering focus as well as strong Financial controlling capacities.

The position will be reporting directly to the ME Operations and Finance Director and will support the ambition for growth and the need for accurate, timely, and insightful management information from across our multi-discipline business. 

The position is aiming as well to contribute to streamlining the process and enhancing the compliance and controls towards the Large Global projects delivered out of the middle east from our various international offices.

  • Leading the global multi-entities / multi-discipline management accounts consolidation process for month-end, budget, and forecasts
  • Deliver a robust planning process including the annual budget and quarterly forecast.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to produce accurate forecasts, focused on Profit, revenue, projects margins, cash and DSO.
  • Maintain a suite of financial KPI’s that evolve with the practice as we move through our period of strategic growth at discipline, entity, and regional level
  • Develop and maintain a monthly of financial KPIs on Projects Portfolio performance and issue the same to the related Project Directors and Partners        (Revenue, Profit, contingencies, WIP, debt, Cash, DSO…etc.)
  • Produce the Regional monthly financial reporting’s/packs  – Interpretation of results, ensure reporting provides insightful commentary on P&L, projects, Pipeline, Cash, Risks and Ops. 
  • Produce reporting’s/packs at discipline level, and lead/monitor the monthly performance calls with track record of actions, responsibilities, status…
  • Support the periodic updates of the practice’s long-term strategic plan (1,3,6 year plan).  Support the practice with long-term strategic planning, through building models and defining key assumptions and plans
  • Maintain and improve on the budget & forecast financial model in the business, continuous improvement to ensure answering the specific requirements of the region 
  • Own and maintain financial risks and opportunities log, with focused action plans in coordination with the Project teams, Operations and Finance team to provide regular and consolidated view to the leadership.
  • Implement and monitors controls and processes, supporting correctness and accuracy of accounts in liaison with the Finance Heads within the ME perimeter (4 legal entities, FS), and support the Financial audits as and when required
  • Accountable for functionality and development roadmap for systems used to support planning exercises - including identification, evaluation/implementation, development & maintenance.
  • Contribute to enhancing internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks in answer to the local market’s evolving requirements and in conjunction with the practice guidelines, ensure compliance with those
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement to ensure effective support to changing business needs.


Your skills and experience

  • Significant track record of experience in commercial finance and business analysis roles, preferably from within the AEC / professional services industry  
  • Experience within matrix organizations is a must, as well as a strong understanding and experience of the GCC/KSA market and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint skills, and able to demonstrate ability to work with various finance systems/databases 
  • Ability to present data in an easy-to-use manner a variety of skeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good stakeholder management 
  • Well-developed logical, analytical problem-solving skills
  • A goal driven individual that is both an independent worker and a strong team player
  • Strong ethical framework, high personal integrity
  • Flexible can-do attitude with the drive to positively approach a wide range of business needs
  • Resilient with excellent communication skills and able to demonstrate tenacity with an attention to detail
